What we hold about you, and how to come off.
This page is for IBCLCs. It says how a name gets onto this register, what is kept, who can see it, and what to do if you want it gone.
Last updated: 14 October 2026.
Nobody is listed who did not put themselves here
Every IBCLC on this register filled in the form on For IBCLCs herself. We do not add people, and we do not copy names across from other directories.
What your listing shows
Your name, your credentials, the email address you gave for families to use, the places you said you work and how far you travel, the languages you consult in, anything you wrote about yourself, and whether you are practising, on leave or retired. The form says under every field whether it is shown or not, before you fill it in.
What we hold and never show
Your IBCLC number, which is how we check your certification on IBLCE’s public registry. Your answers about insurance and CPR. Anything you told us about your scope of practice. Your postal code is kept as three characters and never as six, which locates you to about nine kilometres and not to a house.
Who can see it
The people who run this register, which today is the founders of the Ontario Breastfeeding Clinic. Nothing is sold, nothing is shared with advertisers, and no listing is ranked by payment because there is nothing to pay.
Nothing about a family is recorded
A postal code a family types into the search stays in her browser. It is not sent to us, not saved, and not added to any list. No booking, no name, and no record that she looked.
Coming off, or changing it
Write to info@clcontario.ca and say what you want changed or that you want your listing gone. It comes down, and we delete what we hold about you unless something in law requires us to keep it. You can also ask for a copy of everything we hold.
Who is accountable
Amanda Antal, reachable at info@clcontario.ca. If you are not satisfied with how we have answered you, you can take it to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
